saturday was amazing. this wedding was by far the most colorful, patriotic croation wedding i have ever been to. it started in the morning at mary’s house. the weather was great and the excitement was in the warm breezy air. by 9am the house was filled with friends and family anxiously awaiting the first meeting between mary and tomo. the men arrived with a croation band escorting tomo to his soon to be wife. then some craziness began that adam nor myself understood one word. having said that i was blown away at how much i could figure out. the group chatted back and forth until the 1st bride was finally revealed. (you will understand later). the entire day was filled with family, fun, drinking, excitement, drinking, friends, drinking, pictures and drinking. did i mention croations can drink!

after the ceremony we made it down to the hyatt for pictures. instead of taking the tour bus back to mary’s house with the 30 other people in their wedding party, mary and tomo came with adam and i to bum around east cleveland for some more portraits of the newly weds. i was so happy to be able to share my day with mary and tomo and all the amazing people surrounding their wedding. it was a privilege that i hold dear to my heart. thank you for being you. keep it rad.

today jackie, grayson and i met up with the very fab, ultra hip, husband and wife team of genevieve nisly photography in coventry for some lunch and playtime. big fun, a very rad toy store was our first stop but wasn’t long before i needed a shake from tommy’s. after lunch we went over to the most bee infested, no place to sit, hot slides, playground cleveland has to offer. grayson went down the worlds fastest, longest slide and face-planted at the bottom. nothing i could have done. poor kid.

ezra said he would kick grayson if he tries to go out with his sister. he even showed me. i must have dragged the shutter on my iphone as his legs were a movin!

no, she is not a senior citizen. she is the very pretty, fun, easygoing teenager about to graduate high school at attend kent state this year! i met up with erin on monday for her senior session at squires castle and here are some of my favs from the shoot. thanks erin and good luck in college!

sunday i got to shoot an e:session with dina and jon. such a great, local couple (we met up at the park behind my house!) that i really enjoyed spending the day with. i relate a lot with jon and think dina is a doll. really looking forward to their wedding this year.
